Yes I've been super m.i.a lately, but with good reason. I've had 7 different guest come to visit me in the past two months, so playing tour guide/host has been keeping me super busy. On top of that, I recently finished making 180 of these invites for a wedding. Oh boy, busy me!

So there were 4 butterflies inside of every invite with crystal rhinestones glued to them. So that was 4x180=720 butterflies that I punched out. Yeah, small kind hand cramps, lol! Thanks for sticking with me and I promise to have more post in the very near future!

Just wanted to share with you the Easter goodies that I made for my daughter's class and teacher. The big one is for her teacher. Mama made these and sent me a link on how to fold these cute origami baskets. Super duper easy! For the large one I used a 12"x12" piece of dsp.

Here are the mini ones I made for my daughter's classmates. For these I used a 6"x6" piece of dsp.

I also wanted to share the tag and card that I made for Joy's C.A.T.S. (Card and Tag Swap). My partner this month was the lovely Mimi. Such a fun idea!

A Birthday to Remember...

Wow, I have had the best bday week ever! This past Saturday, my bff, Joy, and a bunch of my other gfs surprised me with a bday/crafting party! It was such a surprise and soooooo fun! I wanted to share all the goodies that I received...those gals totally spoiled me!

Joni made these cute raks and gave them to all the ladies. So awesome Joni!

These were two raks that were given to all the ladies by Joy and Mama...so adorable!

Cami gave everyone these cute goodie bags with the cutest little box on the bottom. Love it!

She also gave me this adorable box filled to the brim with stamps. Love the material flower on the front. Not only did she do all this, she also ran the project for the party...

We made these beautiful shadow boxes. Cami is such a genius and I can't think of a better way to spend my day then crafting with a bunch of friends. Thank you Cami!

I've been going through some really rough stuff and having wonderful friends who stand by your side makes things so much easier. I am truly blessed and touched by each and every one of these ladies. Wedding Invitations

I know I've been sooooo m.i.a. lately from blogland...so sorry about that, but I've had good reason :0). For the most part, I've been making favors, etc. for an upcoming wedding. I had to make a zillion of these wedding invitations for my good friend's wedding. I embossed all the silver (which is what took me so long, lol) with silver embossing powder and a heat gun. Used my SU My Digital Studio to add the flourish design to the back of the text part. Phew, thank my lucky stars I finished. Thanks for looking!

This pop-up gift card holder was sent to me by the very lovely Mama. Such a clever idea! Thanks Mama!

My gf asked me to make a couple simple gc holders for her two son's soccer coaches. They were the Purple Chargers. I made a pop-up gc holder of my own.

View of the inside. When you pull the flap open, the card pops up.

My daughter's school is holding a Luau fundraiser and I volunteered to make a gift card book holder for her class. I used my Bind-it-All that my bff gave me for my birthday.

The inside are a bunch of gc holders and there are little tags to write who donated them.

I wanted to share my tag that I made for the Christmas Tag Exchange.

Also, wanted to share this lovely rak that I received from Cami. What a beautiful easel card!

Tamiko's Sketch Challenge

Tamiko's is having another sketch challenge. This one also challenged us to alter a C&C image (please note that we got special permission from the designer). The designer let us alter by swapping heads with bodies. Was way more challenging than you would think! Halloween Goodies!

Just wanted to share some Halloween goodies with everyone:

I made this by cutting a huge envelope in half, stamping it and then scoring it at 1" around three sides. This is for my daughter's hula class for Halloween.

Here are the bags that I made for her classmates. Didn't want to get too fancy cause they are 1st graders after all, lol.

These next two treats were made by my gf, Brenda (aka the Punch Queen). She already knows this, but thought I would let everyone out there in blogland know that she is my absolute hero!

One of her punch creations using the SU owl to look like a bat. Amazing!

Here is a ty card that I made for one of my gfs...just wanted to let her know how much I appreciate her being there for me.

So I am coaching my daughter's soccer team and at the end of the season I always give the girls a goodie bag from me. I got them each a HK lunch box and made them personalized HK tags. The bags are stuffed full of goodies. Hope they like them :0).

My July OCS partner is Dena this month and I really needed to cut and use some of my stamps that have been piling up, lol. Made her a big ol' easel card and I used some hemp twine to tie from the branch for the ropes for the swing. There is glitter everywhere, but it doesn't really show up on the card. Hope she likes it!

We are going to a first birthday on Sunday and the theme is monkeys. I decided to use some of my gf Brenda's punch art techniques to create the little monkey on front. Hard to tell from the pic, but I used chipboard for his name, covered in paper, and glittered.

Here is my July CPC project that I designed. It's a little gift bag with matching gift card holder. I just love that new Greenhouse Gala DSP!

These cute blocks were made by Jacque and they totally match my project! So cute!

I am slowly getting back in to my groove, lol. All of my craft stuff is unpacked and I have a ton of celebrations coming up that I need to create for. My house is just about unpacked and we are all settling in. Thanks for sticking around!

Hello everyone! I finally just got my internet hooked up yesterday. You would not believe the hassle it has been, lol. I am almost all unpacked and settled in. Haven't crafted anything new, but did make this card right before all my craft stuff got packed away. Just wanted to share to some crafts that I was able to squeeze out right before I packed all of my crafting stuff, lol. This is for my sil's birthday. Sorry, pics are a bit blurry...too much going on, lol. For those of you who don't know, I am moving across the island this weekend and things have been crazy hectic for me. Between packing and cleaning, I am totally exhausted and haven't been able to create much...or do much blog surfing :0(.

Birdhouse Tutorial

Here's a little birdhouse that I created. Thought I would share the tutorial on how I created it. Hope you enjoy!

What you will need:
(1) 11-½"x6" piece of CS
(4) pieces of 2-½"x2-¾" DSP (Designer Paper)
(1) 6"x3-½" piece of CS (for roof)
(10) pieces of 3-⅝"x1-¼" CS (roof tiles)
(1) 3-⅝"x2-½" CS (roof top tile)
(1) 3-½"x3-½" CS (base)
Sticky Strip or Score Tape
Scissors
Punch (for door)
Crop-a-dile
Ribbon approx. 10"

Okey dokey...take your 11-½"x6" piece of CS and score it at: 2-¾", 5-½", 8-¼ & 11" along the 11-½ side:

Now turn and score on the 6" side at: ½" & 3-½"

Turn back to 11" side, using a pencil, mark at: 1-⅜" & 6-⅞"

Take a ruler and score from the pencil mark to the score line below at an angle and then repeat to the other side (this creates a triangle).

Cut off tabs without trianlges. Your CS should look like the following now:

Using your punch, punch out a little door on the first panel:

Fold on score lines and place Sticky Strip on sides indicated:

Take your (4) pieces of DSP and punch one of them out with punch. Apply to all four sides of birdhouse:

Remove Sticky Strip on side only (leave the bottom on) and put together:

Roof:

Take your 6"x3-½" piece of CS, (10) pieces of 3-⅝"x1-¼" CS and (1) 3-⅝"x2-½" CS. Punch out the roof tiles on one side only. Punch out both sides of the top piece (3-⅝"x2-½"):

Adhere one tile at a time to one side of the 6"x3-½" piece of CS to create roof:

Repeat on opposite and top off with (1) 3-⅝"x2-½" CS:

Fold in half and Crop-a-Dile a hole through it:

Pull ribbon through and tie in knot:

Place Sticky Strip on places indicated on Birdhouse base:

Adhere the roof to the birdhouse base:

Now attach your birdhouse to the 3-1/2"x 3-1/2" cs base.

There you go, a little birdhouse to keep or give to someone. Hope this tutorial was helpful and would love to hear comments/suggestions on it! Aloha!

Here is the OCS card that I made for Mama. Sorry the pic is a bit washed out...need to figure out how to take better pics.

I had these little shells that I wanted to put inside the shaker box. Had to make the sides really tall to accomodate them. I drew in the seaweed and sponged the blue for the background. Hope she liked it!

Joy (aka my bff) had a little get together yesterday with a couple of us from the blogging world. We ate a lot ( I mean a lot, lol) and craft a bunch. Mama did a make and take, this wonderful little purse!
Our host (aka the Shaker Queen)gave all of us these adorable shaker boxes in our favorite colors! Thanks Joy! I love the spacer on the front!

Joni gave us these cute little baskets filled with chocolate and brads! Thanks Joni! Love the brads!

Cami made everyone these adorable little baskets and also showed us how to make them. Thanks Cami!

Here is what I made for everyone. I took Maria Bell's 3 3/4" x 6" Keepsake Box and modified it a bit. Of course I had to make it Hello Kitty, lol.

Brenda's little one just turned one! The theme was my absolute fav, Miss Hello Kitty! The party was so adorable, with pink everywhere! All of her beautiful daughters were wearing matching Hello Kitty outfits that her mother sewed! Hey Brenda, do they make them in my size, lol!
