Gift Card Holders for upcoming workshop

I am doing a workshop with the gals at Joy's work on the 26th. Here are the two gift card holders that we are going to be making:



This first one is a criss-cross design. I used Urban Garden DSP, Eastern Blooms and Heard from the Heart stamp sets.



The inside acts like a file folder to hold the card in.



The second one is a little book with a section to hold the gift card. I used my fav, Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set, Bella Rose DSP and some Real Red grosgrain ribbon. Hope the ladies like it!

Little C's Weekly Challenge #8

Jen over at Pieces of Me has a weekly sketch challenge every week. I have never done one, but have always wanted to. Had these new Penny Black stamps that I wanted to use. The center stamp is a Whipper Snapper. If you haven't visited Jen over at her blog, you should! She has really great ideas!

Eastern Blooms and Urban Garden Gift Card Holder

Made this super easy gift card holder for my friend Maria. She just bought a new house so I thought I would surprise her with a gift card from Williams-Sonoma (to fill up her new kitchen).



I started with a piece of Not Quite Navy CS at 4 3/4"x 7 1/2". I scored the long way at 3" and 6". Put a piece of 4 1/2"x 2 3/4" Urban Garden DSP on the front flap. On the inside put a coordinating color of Urban Garden DSP cut at 1 1/4"x 4 1/2". Had some 12"x1" pieces of Urban Garden in my scrap box, so used that for the belly band. Stamped two different flowers from my Eastern Garden stamp set and put Dazzling Diamonds on them. Mounted them on top of each other and added a half pearl accent with a glue dot. Then added it to the belly band with a dimensional off-to-the-side.




Stamped using my Heard from the Heart set on the inside and attached two Not Quite Navy brads at the corners to keep the gift card in place, and tadah! So easy! Hope you enjoyed this! Aloha!

Ohhhhh.....goodies!

My BFF, Joy, surprised me with this cute little card and these goodies yesterday! We play soccer together and she gave them to me before the game.

The "Mini Mermaid" from Whipper Snapper! Joy and I had been eyeballing this one at Whipper Snapper Designs for a couple of months,but never ordered it. I was hoping that we could find it elsewhere, but she surprised my with it! Isn't she the best! Thanks Joy!

Little Birdhouse for my BFF

Thought it was sooooo cute! So I made my BFF, Joy, one using my SU Urban Garden DSP and my Eastern Blooms and So Kind stamp sets. Hope she likes it! Tried to get a good pic, but it was really hard. Enjoy and aloha!

Card for my sister's engagement

Made this card for my sister who recently got engaged. Used a giant background stamp to do the back and then my scallop edge and some bling. Hopefully she will like it. Aloha!

I made my BFF Joy this card the other day.



Used a lot of diamond blings, because she is my BFF and diamonds are all of our BFFs, lol! So I gave her this card and look what she gave me!



The cutest cupcake card ever! Just love it! It has a little velcro flap on the inside to keep it down. Now I had to go and buy that stamp, Simple Birthday Thanks, too! She also gave me this cute little basket made with the new SU Baskets and Blooms Bigz Dies filled with candy.



It also had bling on it too on the little flower. Isn't she the best!
