All my wonderful Raks!

Hello fellow bloggers! This week is so full of craziness for me (had to bake 250 mini-cupcakes for my Taekwondo kids last night), but I thought I would share some of the wonderful raks that I have received in the past week.

This first card is from Curt over at Curt's World. He is just the sweetest guy and he makes the most wonderful cards and takes the most amazing photos too. I just love this card. It is all embossed and beautiful!

This past Sunday was Jen over at Pieces of Me and Little C's super fun Christmas Party. We had so much fun eating and playing games! I also got to see and meet a bunch of my fellow blogging friends.

My friend Enjoli from Stamping Under the Sun was at the party and she gave me the most wonderful gift! She decorated this tin and stuffed it full of goodies! I was so touched by this gift! She is such a wonderful person and I will have to make her something fabulous in return!

Here is the outside of the tin with rub-ons and my fav HK! Isn't it so cute!

It was also stuffed with all of the goodies! Enjoli, you are so thoughtful! She put all my favorite colors and she knows that I love cupcakes! There were chocolate cookies, but my hubby and I ate them, lol!

Here is her adorable Anya Christmas Angel card too! I should have bought this one too...Enjoli makes it look so wonderful! Thank you so much Enjoli, I love everything!

Rina over at Heartful Stamping gave all the gals at the party these adorable shoes filled with yummy chocolate!

My friend Teri over Big Ideas from a Little Girl gave me a little gift bag full of wonderful gifts! Oh there were so many cute goodies! This first one is a cd case that she altered and put a Jamba Juice Gift Card inside! Isn't that the cutest idea!

Cute little snowman!

Inside view of the gc/cd holder.

All the goodies that were in there, there were matching brads to the Imaginisce Princesses, ribbons, bath stuff and so much more inside the acetate box. Teri you are so wonderful and thank you so much for thinking of me!

Wini gave all the gals these adorable HK notepads. You know I love mine Wini!

My BFF, Joy gave me this neat money/check holder! She is the best(and not just because she gave me money, lol).

Jen gave all the gals personalized little note pads with pens. Here is mine, isn't the hula girl so sweet!

I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends! I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday Season and New Year!

Hello Kitty Cup Holder for Jen's Christmas Party

Jen over at Little C's is having a Christmas Party today for all our local blogging peeps! It sounds like it is going to be sooooo fun, I can't wait! She is having a Secret Santa where you have to bring a handmade item and...here is my contribution (of course it is Hello Kitty).

Used my Sizzix HK die and filled the cups with cocoa packets, chocolate kisses, peppermint balls and marshmallows.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday Season! I might have to take a little blogging break to get ready for Christmas. So just in case you don't hear from me.....but who knows, I might need to make something to relax, lol.

Star Wars Gift Card Holder

My friend Erik's birthday is coming up and he loves Star Wars. I decided to make him a gift card holder for his birthday. Super easy, just use a piece of 11½x 4" piece of CS and score at 3", 5½" and at 8½". Fold up and punch through with a circle punch and then a SU word punch on both sides. Enjoy!

Princess Chapstick Holders

I cased this cute chapstick holder from my upline and friend, Jacque. She was selling them at craft fairs, and she said she had a bunch of the chapsticks still. So I asked her for 15 of the chapsticks for my daughter's hula class. I am going to put these into little baggies with candy for the entire class.

I started with a piece of cs measuring 6"x3" and scored at 2¾" and flipped and did the same on the other side. Used my double hole punch for the inside. The image that I used were from this site that had these cute little Disney Princess Jewel characters. The background paper is from Imaginisce's Fairest of them All line. Added a little pink stickles that my friend, Enjoli, raked me.

I thought I would include a pic of some of her hula classmates too. Aren't they adorable! Enjoy and aloha!

Christmas Rak from Denise

Denise gave my daughter and I the sweetest Christmas rak! It was a beautiful pair of earrings for me and an adorable little bracelet for me daughter! Thank you so much Denise, we love them both! As you can see, you can tell how much my daughter loved the bracelet, she even fell asleep with it. Thank you so much Denise for thinking of us and I have a little rak coming your way via my messenger/bff, Joy.

Here's a close up of the earrings. Aren't they beautiful! Love the pink!

Here is my little angel sleeping with her new bracelet, would you just look at those cheeks!

Hello Kitty Cup Holder Tutorial

I figured out how to make one of these cute cup holders and thought I would share the tutorial to all of my fellow bloggers out there. Let me know if this is confusing.

What you will need:

2 pieces of 11"x4" cardstock
2 pieces of 11"x3½" cardstock (same color as above)
corner rounder
sticky tape or two-sided tape
scorer
scissors

Take the two 11"x4" pieces of cs and score at 3" (both pieces)

Corner round the longer side, the shorter side will be the bottom. Put these pieces to the side.

Take the two 11x3½ pieces and score at ½" and 3½ then flip and do the same to the other side.

Score the entire length of both pieces at ½".

Fold at all the creases.

Now cut at each fold in a using a triangle-like cut as pictured below (this will make the bottom look better, you will see later on).

Your two pieces should look like this. Put these two to the side.

Take your first two pieces (11"x4") and punch out the handles using your oval punch. My oval punch wont punch through the two pieces of cs, so I had to do one at a time. This should be done to the end with the rounded corners. Attach the two pieces together back to back with the 3" flaps sticking out.

Your two pieces should look like this.

Take your two 11"x3½ pieces and put two-way tape on the end creases.

Attach to the 11"x4" piece. Repeat on the other side to form the box.

Should look like this. Repeat on the other side.

Using two-way tape, attach all the bottom scored edges to form the box. Repeat on the other side.

The bottom should resemble this on both sides.

There you go! Here is the cup holder.

I bought these coffee cups with tops at Longs and I filled them with snowman soup ingredients (Hot Cocoa, Kisses, Peppermint Balls, and marshmallows).

I put a Hello Kitty head on the front and wrapped it in cellophane and will be giving this to my BFF, Joy, as a little rak. Let me know if any of this is confusing and I would love to see what you come up with. Have a wonderful week!

December Monthly Aloha Rak Club

I was so lucky this month to be paired with my friend, Enjoli, for the Monthly Aloha Rak Club! She is the sweetest and she sent me all of these amazing goodies! Everything coordinated with my two favorite colors, pink and brown! Thank you so much Enjoli! I love everything!

Look at this adorable Anya Angel card! She paper pieced the wings and her bangs and then her little dress too. Just love her and all of the colors that she used. Isn't she a little cutie!

All of my goodies! I also love cupcakes too, so this was an extra treat!

Thank you so much Enjoli! I am so blessed to have you as a friend!

For all of you Hello Kitty Fans!

Went to my friend's daughter's first birthday were I was able to stalk my fav, Hello Kitty, lol. You all know what a HK freak I am, so of course I made my husband take a pic of me with her. Had to ask my daughter to take the pic with me so people wouldn't think that I am a weirdo, lol.
